Payment Due....

Hey guys, I am sorry I have been away for a while.
         With Thanksgiving out of the way, I want to coast through Christmas then New Years. I had a wonderful time of fellowship with my friends. I did not eat too much, did not drink too much {don't really drink}.  I did spend wayyy tooo much!
        So now I come out in the daytime, do my errands that is necessary and get indoors before night fall.
          There is something about nightfall this time of year that means to go SHOPPING!!!
The lights in the malls, on the outside of buildings, in the windows are magical!! They make you shop...It's their fault I'm in debt...{just a little}...I wanted had to have the television with the Netmovie app!
I slept on the sofa for two days of course....
Now the "new" wore off.....and I have nothing to say about the bill, except it is due...
No more Peppermint Mochas for a while.....

THE SHOPPING LIST

Turkey stuffed with rosemary and thyme spriggs. Leg of lamb with garlic cloves buried in it. Duck marinate for two days in port wine, stuffed with oranges. "Chittlins",a small amount for "tradition" sake. {p.u.}
 Yams, in sweet potato pies, candied or topped with marshmallows. Greens; collard, cabbage, and or turnip and mustard. Potatoes {"ice" and sweet}. Corn bread. {period} Corn bread stuffing made with sausage, celery, onions,the "giblettes", worshtershire sause sometimes oysters.

 Fish,the biggest one you can fit into the oven!Stuffed with whatever!
 Baked macaroni, potato salad, gravies, seafood salad, stuffed cabbage, stuffed peppers, I'm sure I am leaving something out...please 4give me.....

CRANBERRY SAUCE.....the one in the can, complete with the ring around it!

Apple cider, Hot buttered rum anyone? Egg Nogg...{is anyone in the bathroom?}
 This insanity happens once per year this time of the year..the last Thursday in November every year...
Did I mention, I AM NOT COOKING THIS YEAR.....=)

"Leave Me Alone"

Leaves Leaves Leaves....I enjoy the Autum season as anyone else, but the leaves.. gesh..
My neighborhood is beautiful in the beginning of autum, with the changing of the color of the leaves.  I enjoy Halloween, Thanksgiving; pretty much all of the holidays this time of the year...Now the leaves have all hit the ground, trees naked, and my lawn has a new "covering"..{LEAVES!!]. I have leaves at the front door. I have leaves in my livingroom, in the bedroom, one or two in the bathroom. On the floor of the car, front and back seats! Pop the "hood",leaves are trapped on the windshield wipers...One day I was getting ready for bed, undressing, I found a leaf in my bra....enough.

Who in the world is getting them up this year?

 One year my granddaughter and I tried, between the yelling and 19 bags of leaves, we did a far job.
Another year I tried to pay the young neighborhood chaps, when they would knock on my door and ask, "Miss can I rake your leaves?"....they would just pile the leaves around the base of the trees and say "see it's decoration"..I payed them anyway.
Last year I met a lawn/landscaper vacuuming leaves on to the back of a truck! WHAT!!!EUREKA...Once again I will enjoy the rest of this season because I made{hired} a new friend...

Coupons..

What "they" having a sale! Where's my coupon folder/case/valise...Yes I "do" coupons.

Coupons of all types. I  have coupons from the neighborhood grocery stores{buy two-get three free}. I have coupons from the crafts stores. I have coupons from the big office supply stores!.."Spend $100.00 and get $25.00 off. Mix-n-match make-up coupons. 

"Monty-Finger" BIG HOLIDAY BOOK!; buy now, pay later...Don't forget the "Swiss-Cheese/Summer Sausage" book! Fruit cake! {really}, all 20% for the holidays...

The Value-PAQ AND the coupons that come in the mail box when you don't have any money...

Okay, in a few words, please describe the reason for your call...I'm not understanding...Can you say it another way?...Ok, You can say things like, I'd like to pay bill, or technical support....I'm sorry, I'm having difficulty understanding...Hold on, let me get someone who can help"....


This insanity goes on for about 5 or 6 minutes every time I call some call center who do not have any employees here in the United States!  I have not problem with the actual operators,,{sometimes I don't understand a word!}, I would like to just talk to someone in the first few minutes of my call.  They try to make the "system" have a personality. The automated system cannot ever understand a New York accent and I will never converse with an answering machine!
I just keep pounding 0 until I get a live operator, then try as I might to understand their "dropped l's, w's......Give me strength....(:-/

More Paperwork

Sooo...BANK OF AMERICA is doing a little back stroking..It has started "dumping" mortgages this past week. With the looming lawsuit at hand, THEY are cutting their losses and running...
My mortgage has been with this Bank since 2007 with the ADVANTAGE accounts. I did not have to pay for checking, etc. as long as I kept a $15,000.00 debt with this bank...

Now, they want to charge me for everything.. Well I think I found a way out without doing all of the paperwork to change banks. (did I mention, I hate change?). Switch your checking account to a MY ACCESS account and as long as you have a direct deposit of atleast $200.00 per month, there is no fees.
Bof A has also decided not to make people pay to spend their own money! WOO HOOO

Traffic

"Get outta my way!'.."These people!, I dont't know where they got there license from, maybe out of the 'Cracker-Jack' box"
"Make the light you boob" "Awww come on...!!!""No No No, don't do it! 
Don't even think of getting in front of me!" "I swear! @#$%.."

Some morings I got through these scenerios. Rushing about over analysing traffic, traffic patterns, I even know traffic light patterns, (if you can catch this light, it is smooth sailing for at least 20 blocks)!
But if I get caught; I fuss then do a quick make-up check in the visor mirror or re-shuffle my iPod.
Then I'm off zooming about, watching the time on my dashboard clock (making good time).

Finally I have arrived! I am at my desk on time. I have put my pocketbook away, set my home-made coffee, in my pink insulated mug, on the desk, and get ready.....wait for it....wait for it....to do mostly nothing for the next two hours...
Then repeat step one at 1700HRS in the opposite direction......=/

THE PERILS OF WEARING THE WRONG BRA

You pull, you tug, you try to remember "just what were you thinking?" when I bought this thing...Who was it that said that we really have to "lift and separate"?
There are days I am incognito and want to be comfortable, letting the girls free..{under my shirt} and don't care if someone notices.
There is the issue of color and cup fit...So do I want a "deep plug", "tuxedo cut", "wonder", "sports","cami" or "balconette"bra..{WTH}. 
We as women, young or old should have some type of universal code that says "it's my day off from society" {a red hat or something}..so when we see this, she can get a "pass" today....She's just NOT feeling like she wants to be bothered or that she cares today...

So...BANK of AMERICA is having second thoughts? I called my bank to confrim the fee for using their cards to access my money.  this is what I was told.." oh that is a rumor that was leaked out. We cannot confirm or deny this information!..but if we do it will not be until the first of the year!...then they reminded me, if you keep a debt of more than $15,000.00 there are not fees..{I'm a preffered customer}...
I applaud every American who has stood on the protest line {occupy Wall Street} on my behalf taking over Wall Street! If I could I would stand with them.


This post was started a few weeks ago..Please forgive my tardiness...=)

This new atmosphere of protests will create change...for the better, I hope.
   The "Occupy Movment" is reminisant of the 1960'S and 1970'S, where we marched for change. We were "flower children, Afro-American, NOW {National Organization for Women}..Out of the protests did come change.  It took rallys, sit-ins, walk-outs, strikes, boycotts.
The Police in these cities shoild have more patience. These people have no jobs because of the financial environment in America; directly or indirectly affected, and they are marching, sitting, protesting for all of us.
Now the city officals are showing their "horns" giving the "green light" to dispurse the masses...In every city where there is an "occupy" they were moved on by the police of that city the same time in other cities. Hummm
Something is got to give...I'm tired of seeing my grown children struggle....I do the best that I can...my little money can bearly feed myself...

WALL STREET

    Sooo...BANK of AMERICA has to deal with the "Occupy of Wall Street! The bank is more concerned with the stock holders ,than the customers. I telephone them a copule of days ago. When will I have to start paying fees to use their cards to spend my money....I was told "these are rumors and if it was to be implemented, it would not be until January next year." Then I was told as long as I have a debt of more than $15,000.00 there will be no fees....thank you very much...I most definitely will stay in debt to you!

    I want to thak the people who are out there at the picket sites, getting arrested, on my behalf. I want to thank these people who are excersing their American right to protest!
The police should not forget, their pension plans are with these baking institutions and to ease up off the crowd, who are Occupying for us all {most fo us}...

    To the stock holders, you have enough money to sit a while and let the backs of the masses get a brake for a while before you proceed to stand on them again....

Today I rise to hear how fragile life is and why we never should take it for granted.  
Mr.Steve Jobs passed away at the age of 56. The man was a visionary who heard, followed through, and lived his calling in life. I swore up and down I was not a MAC fan....but I have an iPod and a iPad, which I never leave home without.
When someone passes in their 50's and you are in your 50's, it put things in perspective. Where am I in my life right now  and what have I accomplished? No we all cannot be Steve Jobs, but in our own way I want to believe all of us made a difference somehow, somewhere, sometimes.
Thank You Mr. Jobs....Your work here is done, return to our Heavenly Father and the Great Collective that came before us.....

Mirrors

Walking through the house, listening,wondering "what is that noise?" as I passed the mirror, I thought I saw my Mother! and reallized my joints were making the noises. Slowly turning into yet another beautiful creature God has created, different, older, but ever so wiser...{I'd like to think}..Oh wait is that another gray hair....wheres' that box!
Gotta go and make an appontment with one of my bffs..{hair-dresser}...

Traveling

I want to travel, but don't want to fly. I want to see the great United States fo America, but don't want to drive. I want to sit on the passenger side, passing chewing gum to the driver like my mom did for my dad while he told dirty jokes....
