Today’s rant is brought to you by, whatever: beer, chips,
wings, etc. about the NFL standings!
What is going on nowadays? The top teams who have brought us great pride have
fell off and the so-so “fumble-squad” are on the “up-n-up.
Going over the NFL STANDINGS is a sad disappointment; as a
long time NEW YORK GIANTS FAN, I usually start watching the standings around
this time of the year and what I am seeing is the rise of a few good teams who
are doing the job at hand, playing great football. The following have great
standings: Cincinnati Bengal, Denver Broncos, and Arizona Cardinals, all have 8
wins with 2 losses. Then there are those usual suspects New England Patriots
with 11 wins and 0 losses which bring me to my issue of the CAROLINA PANTHERS
11 wins and 0 losses!! Kudos, to Cam Newton and team who have been playing great
for the past few years in this football season. The fans of the Panthers are
true die hard and support the team throughout the years and this year the
Panthers have not let them down.
Maybe this is the year [again] when the “low” teams are up,
and the “up” teams are down. Every few years, to me, this seems like this
happens. Never the less it is football season and I crank my volume ALL THE WAY
UP as if I’m at the stadium somewhere.
The New England Patriots and the Carolina Panthers will meet
up in
[Super Bowl 50 will be hosted on February 7, 2016 in the City
of Santa Clara at the state-of-the-art Levi’s® Stadium, which is the greenest
and most technologically advanced professional football stadium in the United
States
