HIS SPINE WAS SEVERED.

FREDDIE GRAY VOCAL CORD WAS SNAPPED.
…”(CNN)Freddie Gray did not get timely medical care after he was arrested and was not buckled into a seat belt while being transported in a police van, Baltimore police said Friday.
Police Commissioner Anthony Batts told reporters there are no excuses for the fact that Gray was not buckled in as he was transported to a police. Five days after Gray's death and amid ongoing protests, police officials acknowledged mistakes were made during and after his arrest.station.”[http://www.cnn.com/2015/04/24/us/baltimore-freddie-gray-death/]

Why? There has to some type of resolution of the police standard of practice. It is now status quo for the misbehavior of some of the uniform rank and file to go on unsolved and no one held accountable for. We in the Black Community cannot stop bring light to these injustices. The modern day civil rights are being violated as they were in the 1940’s, 1950 and 1960’s.
I, a 50 something year old am exhausted with walking the streets to protest, but do encourage the young to continue the cause. Instead of the “baboonery” that is promoted on the idiot box, we cannot lose focus on the issues at hand. I have to encourage the young to never forget our resent past because it affects our future. Instead of material wishes, focus on how to enlighten one another, uplift and encourage our community and stop look for someone else to fix it.
To you celebrities, I implore you to use your platform, whatever it is,  to encourage who you have influence on to strive to do better for themselves and their communities. To those, what I call sub-cultures [WordStar, channels alike, etc.]  So of you act like “Stephen from DJANGO, STOP. Get with the program and stop the bullshit.
In this day of social media, instant news while it happens, there is no time to mobilize marches or protest, legislations to bring about notice. We already know! Nowadays there is video, undisputed evidence recorded. [Still no justice]
There are so many communities within our community that are doing good, we rarely see or acknowledge them but the media insist on feeding the frenzy with the bad police policies in action.
Until we change the police policy/law and the grand jury systems, they will be operating within the ..letter of the law.
Instead of promoting the foolishness of mindless, pointless, non-uplifting we need to continue to push for change.

The 155th Anniversary of the Pony Express

According to Google today is the 155th anniversary of the Pony Express
This article is about the fast mail service of 1860–1861. For other meanings of "Pony Express", see Pony Express (disambiguation)
Pony Express Postmark, 1860, westbound
The Pony Express was a mail service delivering messages, newspapers, mail, and small packages from St. Joseph, Missouri, across the Great Plains, over the Rocky Mountains and the Sierra Nevada to Sacramento, California, by horseback, using a series of relay stations. Officially operating as the Leavenworth and Pike's Peak Express Company of 1859, which in 1860 became the Central Overland California and Pikes Peak Express Company, this firm was founded by William H. Russell, Alexander Majors, and William B. Waddell all of whom were notable in the freighting business.[1] During its 18 months of operation, it reduced the time for messages to travel between the Atlantic and Pacific coasts to about 10 days.[2] From April 3, 1860, to October 1861, it became the West's most direct means of east–west communication before the telegraph was established and was vital for tying the new state of California with the rest of the United States.

On the other hand
April 3, 1860:
On this day in 1860, the first Pony Express mail, traveling by horse and rider relay teams, simultaneously leaves St. Joseph, Missouri, and Sacramento, California. Ten days later, on April 13, the westbound rider and mail packet completed the approximately 1,800-mile journey and arrived in Sacramento, beating the eastbound packet’s arrival in St. Joseph by two days and setting a new standard for speedy mail delivery. Although ultimately short-lived and unprofitable, the Pony Express captivated America’s imagination and helped win federal aid for a more economical overland postal system. It also contributed to the economy of the towns on its route and served the mail-service needs of the American West in the days before the telegraph or an efficient transcontinental railroad.[ http://www.history.com/this-day-in-history/pony-express-debuts] This article is about the fast mail service of 1860–1861. April 14, 1865:

On this day in 1865, John Wilkes Booth, an actor and Confederate sympathizer, fatally shoots President Abraham Lincoln at a play at Ford’s Theater in Washington, D.C. The attack came only five days after Confederate General Robert E. Lee surrendered his massive army at Appomattox Court House, Virginia, effectively ending the American Civil War.

The infamous Dr. Mudd set Booth’s broken arm after Booth fled Washington D.C. and today we get the term “his name is Mudd” when I catch him.

MISTER, MASTER, MISS, MISSES, MS.

This information is solely based on my individual understanding. I am tired of the misuse of these titles by mostly the younger generation [some old heads as well] not understand how to use these titles. The old fashion traditions where when the man was the head of household and it was known as the Smith clan or house hold. Mr. Smith may have had a few females in his household and how one would address the females lets you know who is who. Mrs. Smith could be his wife or mother, but one would introduce the wife first then his mother last if it is his family being introduces. The next group of people would introduced as Master Smith, Mister Smith and Miss Smith; Master Smith was his son under the age of 14 or 18 depending upon the culture, and Young Mr. Smith would be an elder son.
There may be a few Miss Smith, who are Mr. Smith’s daughters. Miss Smith would not be married and would carry her father’s name until she in turn got married. The eldest daughter would get introduce first then down the line to the youngest.
After Mr. Smith’s immediate family was introduced, he would introduce his mother-in-law then his mother Mrs. Smith.
Since the 1970’s a new tradition was added the American English, the title Ms. the title Ms. is a female period. She held no alliance to anyone. One will have to get to know her on her own merit. Ms. can be a single young lady, married woman or divorced. It is what it’s known as a “handle”. Older folks do not like you “handling” their names. Out of respect one would put a “handle on it” [Mrs. Smith or Ma’am]
I’m in the south now, I have a problem with the Ma’am, Sir business…[just, excuse me and thank you] will have to do!
Miss/Mrs./Ms.

THE RELIGIOUS FREEDOM LAW?

…”The Religious Freedom Restoration Act says the government cannot "substantially burden" a person's ability to follow their religious beliefs, unless it can prove a compelling interest in imposing that burden or do so in the least restrictive way.
Proponents of the law say it will prevent the government from infringing on people and their ability to exercise their religious beliefs. Whereas, opponents say it could allow business owners to legally discriminate against the LGBT community.”
Here we are again with other issues that the LGBT community seem to think it is designed to discriminate against them. I am a LGBT supporter and disagree with them this time. I think I understand the point of if “we” (a company) want to be closed on a Sunday because of a religion we should have that right. The Indiana Law said nothing specific about any exclusions and one can read into this or get something total different out of it.
Today in America there are so many choices, there are more than one: shopping center, restaurant, drive-thru, church that one can choose from. The LGBT folks are chanting civil rights as if “they understand the true meaning of this battle cry as the Colored, Negro, Afro-American, Blacks, African-American do. It is funny how when there is a social out cry for injustice in the community I cannot hear the LGBT community. I am not saying they’re silent but really hard to hear unless “they” think it would put them back into the media somehow.
I think the companies that want to attract certain types of cliental should have their inclusions or exclusion clearly and visibly posted, understood with no room for misinterpretation then people can make a conscience choice as whether or not to patronize their establishments. As a company, I have to right, as long as I get not government funding, can exercise my freedom as well. I have walked into a store here in the south, and received a cold reception then walk right out of the door with my money. My money is green, if you have a problem with me, I truly understand and respect that, but you are not the only game in town! [Exit stage left]
