As I move through another phase in my life, my outlook on certain things have changed. The things that used to bother me don't. I am a student of life. Everyday there is a new class in session.

Google? Spectrum? will the real nosy stand
I usually shut down my desktop as usual by either putting it
to ‘sleep’ or just shutting it down. Lately I’ve noticed when I get back to it,
I barely touch it and it would be on and ready to go. I got concerned about this
issue. A few months back I noticed when I ‘searched’ for a subject online it
would show up on my television in a commercial. I didn’t believe what was going
on, so I started to make purposeful steps while watching and documenting the
outcome. Here is what I found.
Researching medication [for a friend] I noticed it showed up
everyday for about two weeks in the early afternoon. I researched a refrigerator
water filter and a website advertisement for ‘delivery system’ of water filters
kept showing up for the early evening programs. During my breast cancer journey,
looking into healthy forms of nutrition, treatments would show up in my commercials.
I tried an experiment where I had my teenage grand to come
and watch television for a few a few days, and low and behold the commercials changed.
I contacted Spectrum via Facebook to which their response
was “we do not have any power over when and what the advertisers do or their placements
of ads.” To which I responded, “CEASE AND DESIST”. There is another incident
where I have played a game [Spades] and leave the computer off to return to other
games on my computer before I even log in to the desltop.
I have now resorted to not only shutting down my computer
but snatching the power cord from the back of the entire CUP.
My rant was about, there is no privacy. Please be careful of
everything that is ‘plugged’ in whether you think you are not engaging, they
still watching you…
See me, watch me move different.
I see you
